My new Hampton bathroom

Recently my husband and I decided to redesign our bathroom into our forever bathroom. We thought if we were to do this, we only wanted to do it once, so had to do it properly. To meet our specifications, we had to look to install safety features, such as grab rails and easy turn tapware that met our requirements but had to look like they belong in our home.
One of the more important accessories we were looking for was Designer Grab Rails that were able to take our weight and assist us moving around our bathroom. We looked at several designs and hundreds of products, visiting many specialised stores, but everything left us feeling cold, like it was straight from a hospital ward.
When we came across the product ranges at Designs For Life, we were amazed at the range and just how beautiful their collections are! We were able to sit at home and look through their website and created a cart of items that we thought would be perfect for us. We decided to ring up and chatted to Barry, who was beyond helpful in discussing the specifications of their product ranges and helped us decide what was right for us.
We decided to renovate our bathroom using the Hampton Collection we found on Designs For Life. We purchased two 450mm designer grab rails, one for besides the toilet and the other for inside the shower. We also purchased the Hampton Designer Rail and Sylva Hand Shower Set, which comes with a 900mm Hampton Designer Grab Rail, the Quik-Grip hand shower bracket and the 5-setting Sylva Hand Piece. Along with those, we also purchased the Pasadena Basin Set – Hampton White, along with the Pasadena Toilet Roll Holder and a Pasadena Robe Hook, all of which pair seamlessly with matching Gloss White Bells and a mirror chrome finish.
The Quik-Grip hand shower bracket is the best hand shower bracket I’ve owned! It’s so simple to use for both my husband and I. As we are fairly different in stature, we both have to move the hand shower up and down the rail each time we use the shower, and with the Quik-Grip, that couldn’t be easier.
These Designer Grab Rails also didn’t require us to rip our tiles off the walls or drill massive holes to install, yet are extremely strong and can comfortably support both mine and my husband’s weight as we use it to lift ourselves up, or hold on to whilst showering. Not to mention the use of the 900mm Designer Grab Rail as the shower rail is brilliant. Having that to hold on to and carry our weight is such a huge relief and an ingenious way to use the product.
Along with the Designer Grab Rails, we also looked for easy turn tapware to replace our very old existing three piece tapware. Barry told us about the Pasadena collection, as it pairs perfectly with the Hampton Designer Grab Rails. The Gloss White Bells of the Hampton Collection is what sold us on this range, and when we realised they match exactly with the Pasadena range we were thrilled. When they turned up we were not disappointed. They are beautiful. The contrast of the Gloss White Bells against the mirror finish chrome is a stunning feature in our bathroom.
In addition, the Pasadena Basin Set comes built with Maxus Spindles, which are a dream to use. The trouble of gripping and turning our previous taps was too painful and difficult for me on most days that I just simply couldn’t use the taps in the bathroom. With these new Maxus Spindles in our Pasadena Basin Set, turning the taps requires very little effort! I can even do so with the palm of my hand flat on top of the handles.
All in all, we are over the moon with our new bathroom! I would highly recommend the Hampton Collection at Designs For Life – although I’m certain all their collections are just as nice as each other.
