Design is an ever-evolving field, and it’s no longer enough to simply create something that looks good. In the modern world, designers must also consider the needs of their users and create products that are accessible and inclusive, and here at Designs For Life, we pride ourselves on leading the world in accessible design.
Accessible design is the practice of designing products and environments that are usable by people of all abilities and ages. It’s an important field that’s often overlooked, and we’re proud to be leading the way in this important area.
Our aim is to highlight what it is we do that sets us apart from other companies that claim they cater to all accessibility needs. We work closely with all potential clients in need of accessible needs to assist us in designing our tapware. We know what those who suffer with limited grip strength, such as arthritis clients, want out of their tapware and we designed mixer handles and three piece tapware to suit. We developed dementia friendly tapware, such as our E-SEE range, using a bold and well-known colour scheme to direct people of all ages to distinguish between hot and cold.

Spruce up your bathroom with the only full suite of Designer Grab Rail Accessories on the market that retro fit onto any 32mm Grab Rail.
Simply clip the desired accessory onto your pre-existing grab rail, or newly purchased Designer Grab Rail, tighten the screw and you have a secure accessory that doesn’t impede accessibility or weaken the structural integrity of the rail. Dementia Friendly Tapware
Designed and Engineered in Australia, the team at Ewing Industries have developed the leading Dementia Friendly Tapware, the E-SEE collection, created with Dementia Patients in mind.
Our specific Dementia Taps feature high contrast and boldly coloured red and blue cross handle basin sets, wall top assemblies and basin tops. The dress rings on the flanges are also coloured in the high contrast red and blue to match the handles and feature bold “hot” and “cold” buttons.
These solid brass components are electro-chrome plated, giving it that high mirror reflective finish that fit in with any domestic or commercial fit out.
